Sinfonia orchestraStudents in Sinfonia are 7th grade students who have had prior playing experience. Some of these students come from the Amy Beverland Dad's Club 6th grade Orchestra, some are from the Winding Ridge or Harrison Hill Performing Arts Magnet schools and some have come from other 6th grade schools with orchestra programs.

what we do |
Students in the Sinfonia Orchestra take time to refine the skills they learned prior from their various, previous, schools. These students often advance much faster than Beginners and are able to challenge themselves sooner with more difficult music. The Sinfonia Orchestra performs a Winter Concert, ISSMA Contest and Spring Concert. Some of these concerts are combined with the Beginning Orchestras.

what we love |
Students in the Sinfonia Orchestra are in it to win it! They have been in orchestra for at least one year already and are excited to continue! This class meets during the last period of the school day and these students can't wait to get to class and get playing!
