Meet the directors
Mrs. Bryan is the head director of choirs at Belzer. Excellence, passion, and caring are three words that characterize Mrs. Bryan’s teaching. In her 18 years of teaching music, Mrs. Bryan has taught at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. From directing choirs at an international school in Hong Kong, China, to a county boy’s choir in Ohio, and show choirs at Lawrence North High School, Mrs. Bryan believes some of her best adventures in choral music lay ahead at Belzer Middle School. Mrs. Bryan knows that choral music is a powerful tool for personal growth, hard-work, overcoming obstacles, artistic expression, teamwork, and unity.
Mrs. Bryan is a singer, and also plays the piano and trumpet. She has a Masters in Music Education from Anderson University, where she also received her bachelor's degree. She enjoys leading worship and playing piano at her Church, listening to almost every style of music, and impromptu dance parties in the kitchen or the car. Mrs. Bryan is a fan of water slides, dark chocolate, going on walks with her husband Eric, and laughing with her children, Jonah, Julia and Jenna.
